Update regarding Virus Outbreak

Hello, Stitchers!

We hope you are all staying safe and sound in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak. We want to reassure our customers that Yes! We are open for business! But we are not open for visitors until further notice.

You can still get your cross stitch supplies from us, and we want you to know:
– We sanitize our cutting table, computer area, chairs, serger and everything else we can think of every morning.
– We wash our hands frequently and practise good hygiene.

According to the latest information from the CDC, this virus can live only 2-3 days on hard surfaces, and even less on soft surfaces like fabric. If you are at all concerned about your order, simply leave it in its original packaging for a few days before opening.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We’re here to help!

Stay safe, everyone!

    Dear Mrs. Donna and Serena,
I received my package today and I am ecstatic!!! Love love my threads and waste canvas!! I wish I lived closer so I could do workshops with you when this virus thing is all over. I think my order number was 8305. I cross-stitched baby announcement way back. Due to construction work and traveling, I was not able to find her. I took it out and it has yellowed. So I’m wondering if I can soak it without risking a color fade and mess it up? Thank you again. I’m going to check out your books!!!

Hello, Judith! Thank you for your kind comments!

For your older project, you should have no problem with colour fade if you used a good quality mercerized cotton thread such as DMC or Anchor brand. There have been cases where there was a little colour run, especially with the reds, so limit how long your soak your project, and as a precaution, you can use a “colour catcher” product that is normally found in the laundry department at Walmart or at a fabric store. That helps to catch the colour if it bleeds, before it can deposit on any other fabric or floss.

If you have further questions, please feel free to email us at Donna@MagicHourCrossStitchSupplies.com. We’ll be able to respond faster!

      Cheers!

      Donna and Serena

Hi, I placed an order on March 25 for waste canvas for cross-stitch, and several metallic spools. I think my order number is 8305. How long does it take to receive a package?
