The size 24 needle is a good strong needle with a sizable eye, useful for lower-count fabrics, such as 14 count Aida or 20 count Lugana or Linen when using metallics.  (Sorry! Out of stock)

The size 26 needle is a good mid-sized needle. The eye is still easy to see but it’s noticeably slimmer than the size 24.  It is useful for medium-count fabrics, such as 16 or 18 count Aida or Luganas or Linens in 25 to 28.

The size 28 needle is a fine, slim needle. The slim size and highly polished surface also help it glide through the fabric easily, so backstitching is easier, even when using multiple strands.
