Counted Cross Stitch pattern Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings THE SHIRE from original art by Wenjin Lu
Image licensed for cross stitch exclusively by Magic Hour Needlecrafts
The Shire, home to Bilbo and Frodo Baggins and their hobbit friends, is beloved as a place of peace and quiet and good tilled earth. The round doors and windows of the hobbit holes peep out from The Hill, and the lanterns shine a friendly light on passersby. Tolkien’s classic and enduring work, Lord of the Rings, has been one of the most loved fantasy books in the English language since it was published, and was brought to life again in Peter Jackson’s trilogy. JRRT’s rich tale of Middle Earth has inspired countless other works of art in many fields.
Magic Hour Needlecrafts is honoured to present a cross stitch pattern created directly from an original work by the very talented Wenjin Lu. Wenjin beautifully captures the light and colour of Tolkien’s world in this image of The Shire.
This is not a photo conversion. Each stitch was carefully placed, and each colour selected to be as true as possible to the artist’s original work. The image with the white lines is as Wenjin created it, but with her approval, the same image with black lines is also available. Please specify in the “Variations” tab.
A portion of the price of this pattern goes directly to the artist to encourage her to keep producing her beautiful images.
